Neuromodulators
Botox®, Dysport®, and Daxxify® are neuromodulators that temporarily block nerve signals that stimulate muscle contractions. As a result, the muscles relax, and the overlying skin smoothens out, significantly reducing the appearance of wrinkles. They are most commonly used to treat wrinkles in areas such as the forehead lines, frown lines (between the eyebrows), and crow’s feet (around the eyes) but they are also used to treat other ailments such as migraine headaches.
Fillers & Sculptra
Revanesse Lips, Revanesse Versa, Radiesse, Restylane, Juvederm, Sculptra, and the RHA collection are substances that are injected into the skin to add volume, fill in wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. They are commonly used in cosmetic procedures to rejuvenate the appearance of the face, hands, and other areas of the body. When injected into the skin, fillers help to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, restore lost volume, and improve the overall texture and appearance of the treated area. They work by physically filling in the spaces beneath the skin’s surface, providing support and lifting sagging skin.
Kybella
Kybella® is an injectable treatment specifically designed to reduce submental fullness, commonly known as a “double chin”. Kybella contains a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When Kybella is injected into the area under the chin, it works to destroy the fat cells, leading to a reduction in the appearance of a double chin.
MicroNeedling & Hydra Pen
MicroNeedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a device with fine needles to create tiny puncture wounds on the skin. MicroNeedling promotes collagen production and skin tissue repair. The Hydra Pen® device is also used at Pink Opal which is a handheld device that features a series of microscopic gold-plated needles that are thinner than a human hair. Both the Hydra Pen & MicroNeedling are effective in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars, as well as improving overall skin health especially when hyaluronic acid is added to improve results.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels can provide a number of benefits, including improving skin texture and tone, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and addressing hyperpigmentation and other skin discolorations. Pink Opal also offers VI Peels which are a type of chemical peel designed to improve the overall appearance and health of the skin. PRP/PRF injections are natural therapies that stimulate tissue regeneration and healing by utilizing the growth factors and healing proteins found in a patient’s own blood. PRF therapy shares some similarities with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy but differs in its method of preparation and application. The potential benefits of PRP/PRF treatments include improved skin texture and tone, reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increased collagen production, and improved hair growth. PRP/PRF treatments have gained popularity in recent years, and many people have reported positive results after the procedure.
